The MERC Manhal database (theses on line) aims to promote the consultation and loading of MA and PhD dissertations defended before jurys in different languages. Thanks to the services offered by cyber- theses and thesauruses of different universities, MERC put at the disposal of researchers a considerable number of useful documents on the Arab world, Turkey and elsewhere.

To promote openness and exchange, the MERC Manhal database is accessible to the public. Researchers can freely consult, download or deposit dissertations. The deposit can also be carried out by the laboratory staff (a librarian for example), who has been authorized by the author to do so. Dissertations whether recent or not, are accepted. The deposit of old dissertations is strongly encouraged in so far as files are available.
